Mobility and Stability Routine for Athletic Performance


The following sequence combines balance, strength and mobility. Core strength and balance are the foundation for optimum flexibility. This sequence, created by Extensa, is perfect for strengthening the core muscles and working on improving both active and static balance.


Guidelines:

To begin, perform one repetition on each side. Once you have mastered each side. Perform two sets on the left and then two sets on the right. Work your way up to a maximum of three sets on each side. Remember to keep the abdominals braced throughout the entire exercise and proper posture even when transitioning from one position to the other.
